tattoo 2006
So last Saturday I went with Prilla (featured below in bunny pictures. thanks, chica!) to her school's annual international food (and music/cultural) festival, "Tattoo 2006". It was so much fun and I ate SO MUCH food and drink from so many countries (seriously, probably sampled food from 20 different countries in the span of a few hours-it was ridiculous). I came away with a bit of henna (featured below), a bindi, a tattoo of the Italian flag (forced on me by some crazy pizza-pusher-no kidding, he was pushing pizza and tattoos of his country's flag on people), an event T-shirt, and a stomach ache! There was also this crazy Argentinian band running around the place with drums and whistles and mostly-naked dancers. Good times.

Steph, I totally dig the mehndhi (henna)! Yeah, I see that it doesnt cover your whole hand, but it's quite intricate for a small pattern. You have good color, too, for not leaving the paste on over night. At least I don't think you did. FYI, the indian festival is this weekend!!!! Yeah for gulab jamun ( remember the dessert soaked in honey) and the pav baji ( indian sloppy joes) Scrumptious!! I'll be thinking of you.
Yay for you and Prilla hanging out!!! :) Would you believe Richmond can compete with the mostly naked thing-- the National Folk Festival had some Hawaiian dancers that wore skimpy loincloths and nearly gave some heart attacks, conservative old city it is and all...
I obviously went on the wrong night.
you suuuuuuuuure did meda ;) it was funny cause kat pointed out that you could see where their tan lines ended....so they had super tan legs and pale white asses
Wow. Damn! Who Pocahontas? Is that you Ratna? You guys wanna PLEASE go to a haunted house with me? Or Halloween (the original movie) in the theaters on Monday night?
By the way- that is a cool henna tattoo, Steph. Very hot.
