happy australia day!!

...two days late oops i've fallen a little behind on updating the blog. But, Friday was Australia Day (sort of the equivalent of 4th July for Australians), and I witnessed once again how much Australians (at least those individuals out on this particular occasion) enjoy partying and...music from the early 90s-ish. I had had "snakebites" previously and thought they were some crazy mix of alcohols, but learnt (British English is creeping into my vocabulary) on Friday they are actually mostly just cider, a little fosters, and blackcurrent flavouring. not bad, eh!
