funny moment: as i was working hard to keep the celebratory cigar lit, one of the men at my table mentioned "you know, in spain you don't often see a woman smoke a cigar". i looked around and noticed i didn't see any women smoking, though cigars were offered to everyone & there were several female (cigarette) smokers at my table . i think he thought i was a bit odd, which i sort of enjoyed. at the end of the day, i wasn't very good at cigar smoking-too much work with too small a reward-but it was fun to take part!
